an acquintace once told me at a manon meurt concert that he could write a computer program capable of generating dozens of songs that sound just like the band. well, good luck at that, pal! meanwhile, i'll stick to this beauty that transports me into shoegaze heaven every time i hear it.

Miners cover a lot of genres with this EP and do them all a great justice. "Restless" is classic slice of shoegaze. "Wrings" is dreampop perfection. "Empty Words" has post-punk undercurrent & vocal delivery. "Ruby" is gentle jangle pop gem. "Moon" closes the proceedings w/ noise pop in MBV & J&MC fuzzed out phased glory. Miners has certainly produced some BC treasure with this set!
